Our story
It started with our founder's father: an old school locksmith who sharpened his own tools and never forced a door if it could be opened without damage. The photo shows him at work in the city he knew inside out. His son came along as a boy, learned the trade from him and grew the business with certifications, modern opening and security techniques and round the clock availability.
More than 15 years later we are still at the same doors: portiek flats in De Pijp, canal houses in the centre, offices on the Zuidas and new builds on IJburg. That is exactly why we work so fast. We know which lock sits behind which door before we step out of the van.
We believe a locksmith should above all be reliable. You usually call us at the worst moment of your day: at night in the rain, or right after a break-in. At that point you do not want to negotiate about price, you want someone who shows up, explains what is going on and fixes it properly.
That is why we always give a price indication on the phone, show you the lock before we replace it, never charge extra at the weekend, and send an invoice you can submit to your insurer or landlord straight away.
